Montecito High School prepares students for academic success, for personal growth, and to become productive community members by providing a safe, supportive and flexible learning environment. Students fulfill academic requirements, and demonstrate personal social responsibility that will empower today's learners for tomorrow's world.

Our Vision

At Montecito High School we embrace diversity and provide programs that promote understanding and respect. Extension and intervention opportunities are provided to enrich our Common Core learning in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. We strive to build a culture of college /trade school and career readiness for every student, giving him or her teh confidence and ability to succeeed in school and in life.

Montecito After School Clubs

The 21st Century ASSETS Program Grant awarded to Montecito High School has allowed our campus to offer our students a variety of clubs on campus for enrichment, recreation, leadership and personal growth. RHS welcomes RUSD Juniors and Seniors in good standing to the 2020 Prom! This year's theme is the Roaring 20s.
Where: Parq West, 2557 Third Avenue
When: May 16th 7:00 - 11:00pm
Cost: $80.00 per ticket
We have a VERY LIMITED AMOUNT OF TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased in the MHS Office only.
Tickets for MHS students in good standing go on sale as follows:
Seniors March 2nd
Juniors March 16th
The last day to purchase tickets while they last will be May 7th.

  • Thank you to John Hill for a great experience touring the facilities at the San Diego Associated General Contractors and it’s apprenticeship program!
  • Beginning and intermediate students- planters, planning, pitches and plumbing
